- Jorasanko Thakurbari: Also known as House of Thakur, this 18th century mansion is the ancestral residence of the renowned author and poet Rabindranath Tagore, who was responsible for penning down the National Anthem of India and many other countries. At present, the mansion has been converted into a museum and a university. The museum displays the famous works of Tagore.
